Prayer is an essential tool for healing and is an excellent source of comfort, courage and strength for those who are suffering. During times of illness, disease or a life challenge, nothing is more important than to offer prayer and to join with others in assurance of these prayers.
In addition to prayer, the Saints protect us against harm, help strengthen our faith and offer spiritual guidance and healing. They are our models of prayer and their intercession helps present powerful prayers of healing to God on our behalf.
Our Patron Saints of Healing line offers hope and comfort to those who seek healing through the intercession of the Saints. Each holy card and medal set includes a high-quality prayer card that contains novena prayers specific to the affliction, a short biography of the patron saint and an oxidized silver patron saint medal.

Saint John, the son of Zebedee, and the brother of Saint James the Great, was called to be an Apostle by our Lord. He was the only one of the Twelve who did not forsake the Savior in the hour of His Passion.
Saint John stood faithfully at the cross when Jesus made him the guardian of His Mother. During the era of the new Church, he preached in Jerusalem and at Ephesus. He was, with the other apostles, taken prisoner and scourged by the Jews, and in the year 95, under the Emperor Domitian, was thrown into a vessel of boiling oil. Having endured this torture without burns or injury, he was then banished to the island of Patmos for a year.
He died at Ephesus in 101 and is credited with the authorship of three epistles, one Gospel, and the Book of Revelation.
Saint John is recognized today as the patron of those suffering from burns. His feast day is December 27th.
